Question Classic compressors bundle question

I was wondering if I should have the bombfactory classic compressors bundle with pro tools LE 8. I appear to have licences for each compressor in ilok account but whenever I try to download the plug ins and start pro tools up it cannot authorise them, any help would be much appreciated!

The classic compressors bundle does not come standard with Protools 8. But it does come with the factory bundle editions of certain interfaces, like the 003 Factory, etc. Can you be specific about what you have (did you just buy it, etc.)?

The classic compressors bundle did change a couple of years ago. It might help to know which licenses you have on your ilok, the new license is Classic Compressors V4.

If you don't have that license you may need to download older installers, theres normally a 7.4.2 - 8 version which will still work.

Cheers for responses, think ive got a bit confused! turns out i dont have the licences for classic compressors after all, they are for

BF Voce Bundle v4
Bomb Factory BF-3A
Cosmonaut Voice
JOEMEEK SC2 Compressor
JOEMEEK VC5 Meequalizer
Moogerfooger Analog Delay
Moogerfooger Ring Modulato
SansAmp PSA-1
Tel-Ray Variable Delay
Voce Chorus/Vibrato

I dont have any of these plugins when i open pro tools, can i download them from digidesign?

p.s The reason i thought i had classic bundle licences was because i saw the JOE MEEK stuff, was sure that used to be included!

One more thing; I have the 003 rack+ factory, should the classic compressors bundle have been included? Purchased in 2008

cheers

The Avid store is confusing, i bought this upgrade a few years because i have the 002R Factory but there's no mention of the 002R ref this upgrade anymore.

I digress, you can add all of those plugins plus sound replacer etc for £25, well worth it.

For the rest of the plugs, just search the avid site and download them.

I agree with Dougfather, it's well worth the $30 to upgrade to the version 8 factory bundle, especially because you get the BF2A and the Fairchild, plus some other stuff.

HOWEVER, if you indeed have the 003 Rack Factory+ (as in plus, with the 8 preamps), then you should have the licenses for this Factory version 8 already. Because the 003+ was introduced at the same time as PT8, so anyone who bought any of the factory bundle interfaces should have that factory version as well.

I would double check the registration cards, and your Digi account, maybe even contact Avid support, before you spend the $30 on an upgrade that might not be needed.

Regardless of whether you have it or you buy it, you'll want to download the installers from this page:

http://secure.digidesign.com/service...&localeCode=en

Choose "003 Factory and Producer Factory Pro V.8" and choose either Mac or Windows.
