I have a click!! basic midi question
I finally got a click, but it was only after the digi midi out went into my keyboard, and vice versa, at first I had, I didn't have the midi out going into my keyboard. Why, do I need both midi ports hoke up. I thought the keyboard was sending the midi information to the digi.

Re: I have a click!! basic midi question
The click feature in protools has to have a sound module in order to make the click sound. Protools generates the midi signal for the click but it has to be directed to a sound module via a midi channel . Therefore, you need a midi cable from PT to the sound module and also the correct midi channel has to be selected in midi options before you will hear a click sound. You can also assign which note in the sound module the click uses for the accent and regular beat.
