It was during an early stage of the mix and instead of trying to figure it out (no time) we just ditched it and everything worked fine. Sorry I can't be of more help than this. -L
Ah.. Gotcha. Auto mode was problematic for us as well. Mainly when trying to do a real time punch in on a mix since it is in constant fluctuation, it was never quite in the same place for the punch. We are running in manual mode without any issue. I think they've improved the tracking in auto since early versions as well. Might be worth revisiting.

Thanks

You can't use RX Dialog Denoiser in "Auto" mode no matter what Mac you have.
Try this instead:
Highlight a clip with Denoiser set in "Auto"
Put your PT Automation in "Suspend"
Play this clip and let RX in "Auto" analyze the clip. Now when its's near the end of the clip flip it over to "Manual". Now keep looping the clip and adjust it to where it sound good (Level in/ out , amount of Noise reduction etc.)
Now stop the clip with it still highlighted and do
Command Option / (Backslash) Hold down all 3 keys simo
You have written the automation like you would any Eq etc . Now everytime it plays back it will be playing back denoised Dialog exactly the way you wanted it to sound. If you play it back in "Auto" it takes a moment to analyze the clip and that is why it doesn't sound good or you say "It gives me trouble". Don't buy a New Mac, just optimize your workflow for the Tools you are using.
