Default When updating to 8.03 ask for strange permission

When i went to download the 8.0.3 update, it asked something very strange. It asked for "Unrestricted access" to my computer. What the heck? Never have seen that before, and I quite because it scared me off, Unrestricted access? why would downloading an update need that?

Specifically, a popup says "An applet from "dlm.tools.akamai.com" is requesting unrestricted access to your computer. Allow?

seems mighty odd.

Just how I normally operate, have downloaded updates before and never has been asked this.

Check the link, and went to download the update but it said the same thing.

should I be worried?

Might depend on your browser settings. I'm getting that message everytime I use Digi's own download manager. If you are of the paranoid type just avoid it and download without the dl manager. Before the download starts there should pop up a window saying DOWNLOAD in bold capitals. There used to be a link for not using the dl mananger.
