The M-Audio hardware VS digidesign on the quads

It seems the discussion on this has stopped...Are people with the M-audio hardware and drivers still getting like 440 dverbs on their test? This is sort of an issue for me. I'm in the middle of building a quad machine but now I'm not sure If I want to sell my 002 and try to get that maudio mixer with 8 preamps and the drivers seeing that it runs 440 DVERBS on the test. Ridiculous...What is the limit on an hd system. It seems that the maudio has it matched....Let me know. Thanks

this is still being tested havent got to the bottom of it. guessing though the combination of PCI buss and m audio drivers. we are all waiting for 3j (or someone else) to get ahold of a 002 unit. the quality though of the m audio interfaces is not going to be of the quality of the 002 in most peoples opinion, and i am not saying the 002 is great either! there is only 5-6 quads at the most going now so waiting for more people to get them up and going and do more testing. i would not run off and sell your 002 yet though. this post would be better answered in the quad forum where me, shan, and 3j, seem to reside with most of our internet time lately.
