Ik media mirsolov philharmonic 2 no sound

i have IK MEDIA Mirsolov Philharmonic 2 (IKMMP2) virtual instrument package installed on my DELL G7 laptop running Win11. If I launch the app (stand alone) - i can load any instrument i desire and sound plays thru my M-Audio AIR 192/8 playback engine. However, If i Launch PT Artist, then create an Instrument track, select IKMMP2 as the instrument insert, Arm the track- i cant hear any sounds - i can see my track meters move when i hit the keys but no sound. Additionally, if i select to record - nothing happens but the STOP/PLAY & RECORD lights on my transport just blink. I have also made sure that my midi devices are set properly in PT Setup. What is the best way for me to use IKMMP2 with PT Artist, add tracks that actually have sound?

COMP: DELL G7 I5 Intel 2.5ghz proc with 32 gb RAM.
OS: Windows 11
Pro Tools Version- Artist 2023.12
Audio I/F: M-Audio AIR 192/8

Start first by checking what the Playback Engine is set to what you expect. And then as a test, drag and drop a known good audio file onto the Edit Window and let Pro Tools create a new audio track and check that plays OK.

Is the track output of the instrument track correct? Do you see notes being recorded to the MIDI timeline?

I have checked to make sure that my playback engine is set to my M-Audio AIR interface. I have no issues with any other virtual instrument or plug-in except for MP2 in PT. I can even open MP2 standalone and play all day using different instruments.
The problem exists only when i use MP2 in PT as an insert directly in a track- or as a plugin routed to MIDI, or as an Aux.

To make thing worse, if i select MP2 while in PT for anything..midi, insert, send...i have to restart PT to get the PT application to work at all.
It is a bit frustrating but i have many other VI's and Plug-ins that work perfectly with PT. There is always one way to skin a cat-so to speak. However, after spending the $ on MP2 ($200.00)- i expect it to work- or just play nice with the others in the sand-box.

Enable the instrument view in the Pro Tools mixer and confirm the MIDI output path is assigned to Miroslav Philharmonic. You mentioned checking everything else but you didn’t mention that you checked this.

1. Make sure Windows Sound Playback is NOT using the M-Audio. Mine is set to Realtek.
2. Make sure Windows Sound Recording is NOT using the M-Audio. Mine is set to no audio devices.
3. Make sure Pro Tools Artist IS selecting M-Audio in the Playback Engine.
