Default Annoying midi playback error

Hi

I finally upgraded to the lovely PT 10.0.1 from 8.05. It seems to be working perfect except one thing. Often when i push the start button (space) my midi tracks come in late with a sort of boom. Like 3-4 sec after the audio tracks.
It is for sure i will see the problem if I stop the music and start it immediately again.

Anyone know how to resolve this?

PT 10.0.1
Digi002 rack

quad core 3.2 ghz
4 gb ram
Gigabyte MB

Win 7 64 bit sp 1.
