Default PTLE 7 upgrade and Ignition Pack

Not that I particularly care if I get the package, but are the download/upgrade purchasers (as opposed to full-retail-box full-version or upgrade-version purchasers) of version 7 still entitled to the Ignition Pack?

The ignition pack is not part of PT7, it is only bundled with a new hardware puchase.

Hmm.
Not to belabour the point, but under "bundled software" for PTLE, it simply says that the ignition pack is bundled with every PTLE (hardware?) system... so the upgraders don't get the benefit of the REX file disc, Melodyne, or... um, whatever else is in there?

That's a big no. In your own words above, a "PTLE system" is the whole package of both software and hardware. The software will not work without the hardware attached, making it a system. However, if you were to run out and buy a new PT|LE "system," you'd get the ignition bundle, or the factory bundle (which ever you choose). As far as the upgrades to PT|LE 7 are concerned, you won't get any other CD other than the upgrade disc from Digi. No REX, no Reason Adapted, no Live Lite, etc. That only comes with new system purchases.

Good luck on your quest!

Aww, no quest. It just struck me on the various go-rounds of the site that this stuff was listed, and really, all I'd make use of would be the disc of REX files.
Thanks for replies, folks!
