Chances are pretty good that it won't work at all, but it might.

Pro Tools This web page is a pain in the ***(no wonder so many guys use cracks) All I wanted to do is buy or download or whatever pro tools 6 . As I stated in my original post I have bought a new mac and I have invested a lot in pre's fx's monitors ect..when I go to the Digi Store all that shows up is 6.7 stuff NO MENTION of any other software other than old os9 stuff.
I've used this software for years and would like to continue to do so and one would think this would be a fairly simple upgrade.
From OS9 5.22 to
0S10 2.28 6X
??????????????????????

Except that you bought a card that was discontinued years ago.

Why don't you just cal Digi. They should have some ideas.

You would need to order the upgrade to Pro Tools LE 6.1.2 for Mac OS X 10.2 directly from Digidesign Customer Service Administration. It would be $75 plus tax if applicable and shipping, the same cost as the other Pro Tools LE 6.x upgrades on the DigiStore.

The reason this is not on the DigiStore is because this is a discountinued product and upgrade, and Digi CSA has to put together the pieces for you. The special upgrade would include 6.1.2 for Mac OS X 10.2 and Pro Tools LE 6.1.1 for Windows XP, which are the last officially supported versions for the Audiomedia III card. Also Pro Tools LE 6.2.3 for Mac OS X 10.3, not officially supported, but the last version that can be used with the AM3.

You can contact Digi CSA by phone or email:

Why is 52lp being treated like a pariah just because he is still trying to use a piece of perfectly good, albeit discontinued equipment? Aren't the landfills full enough?
