Default Pro Tools M Powered 8.0.5 keeps crashing on Windows 7 64bit SP1

I have PT8-MP 8.0.5
MobilePre USB interface
EZ Drummer plug in
i7 CPU
16GB ram
nvidia geforce 9500 gt video card
1 TB HDD

open pro tools fine...
open session fine...
click around a couple of tracks and windows closed my program.
updated all drivers and firmware.

No clue why this is happening!

Anyone have any experience with this?

I also changed all my settings to run windows basic color scheme, etc, etc.

Any help will be appreciated!

thanks!
