No, Pro Tools 8 LE only supports Digidesign hardware (Mbox family, 002, 003) and Pro Tools 8 M-powered only supports M-Audio hardware.

I'm sorry. I read the Motu thing, and assumed you were talking about hardware... sorry for my ignorance.

Anyway,

I just looked up the MachFive mn and guitar center says:
  • Plug-in formats:
  • MAS, AU, VST, RTAS, DXi, standalone application
So yeah Pro Tools LE and HD support RTAS plug-in formats. I'd suggest going to their website and looking for an RTAS install guide, or simply try looking for the plugin file in the the MachFive folder and copy it to Pro Tools plug-in folder.

I have honestly no idea... check their website?

I messed around with their terrible search engine function for a while and I didn't find much.

I guess you could call and ask...

Do you have Pro Tools 8 installed and you can't see it? Give us some more info.

I know at least one of the MOTU plug-ins, Ethno, has problems so it's possible others do as well.

Unfortunately we do not get these from MOTU for testing, so we don't know if they are supposed to be working or not.
