Love RX2, this can only be better. Wonder how the real-time denoiser will compare to CEDAR's DNS One or if they have licensed something from CEDAR like they did with the spectral repair module.

Just hope the real time process is low latency and available inside pt. the demo video only shows it in their standalone version.

The Spectral Repair part of RX 2 is licensed from CEDAR so you may be on to something.

This is mis information. Cedar have not licensed their DNS One code to izotope

CEDAR Audio announces licence agreement with iZotope Inc.

http://www.cedaraudio.com/news/izoto...ce_9may12.html

CEDAR Audio invented and patented a highly successful method of editing audio using a spectrogram-based interface, and announced today that it has entered into a licence agreement with iZotope Inc., granting iZotope a non-exclusive license to U.S Patent No. 7,978,862 for the iZotope RX 2 Spectral Repair module.

Now What?

That was an agreement for the use of that type of "view" of audio - which was first developed by cedar. Nothing else. You are barking up the wrong tree here.

Not trying to mislead anyone but it does seem plausible considering the working relationship CEDAR and iZotope have together.
