Default decode mp3 to wav with out MP3 Option from dd?

any possibilities to decode a mp3 file to a wav-file? if yes, please tell with software you´re doing it?!

You can use Winamp for that. If you choose the diskwriter as your output instead of wav_out or something, it writes the .wav file to your disk when you press play.

You do know that converting an mp3 to wav doesn't improve it's quality right?

I just bounce to a wav file and then convert to mp3 with musicmatch, or whatever.

I really love wav to mp3 converter plus. It's easy, fast, has a ton of options, and it's cheap.

search on google for CDEX, a powerful free tool for converting mp3 to wav and vice versa.
