Waves 6 Localization Issue
The system (HD2 7.4.2/MacPro 10.5.5 US) was runnin fine till a user switched the language option fron English to Greek.
Result:ProTools would launch fine but when opening a session that had Waves plugins would give an immediate Crash. The crash reported Waves as the thread crash on the very top. Removing Waves DAE Waveshell seemed to solve the problem Trashing the Waves preferences with the WaveShell DAE active would make the Session launch but it would hang right away as soon a Waves plugin gets activated. So it was this localization issue that caused this...anomally I would be obliged if any fellow EU member could try and see if this issue also applies to other languages too or is it limited to the Greek one Cubase and Nuendo is also giving the same error btw Last edited by mix109; 02-22-2009 at 02:22 AM.
