Importing songs from Cubase SX into ProTools LE ?
Hello all,
I have some songs done in CuBase SX with both Audio and MIDI files and have another system I just setup with Pro Tools LE. I want to get the songs/arrangements from the CuBase system and be able to load them up into the ProTools system. Does anyone know how to do this? I have a DVD burner in the Cubase system and also have a USB external hard drive which should help for transfer. thanks, John |

Re: Importing songs from Cubase SX into Pro Tools LE ?
Hi
I do this all the time. Depending on the size of the project I either just import the files into the PT Session (make sure the sample rate and bit rate are the same) or use Digi Translator (you can try the demo) Good luck |

Yes, import the files directly into PT, but you have to consolidate (render in Cubase) all of the files from the begining of the song till the end of each file so you can sink them in PT.
For midi is even easier, render the midi files in Cubase, and in a session in PT go to MIDI menue and select import midi. Joz
