You must be joking.

If however you are being serious, the answer is no. TDM is being phased out and HDX is a completely different architecture. There will be no mixing HDX cards with Accel cards.

I'm 60, start with the sound on sound tech and finish my time with HDX...may be more

TDM is probably 5 years past its "used by date".
It has to go, and the sooner the better. Its one of the reasons Tools has been unable to give us new features that are everyday in other DAWS.

I'm looking forward to a purely AAX future (if I can afford it).
