Default Installing PT 8 LE on Snow Leopard

Has anyone successfully installed PT 8 LE (or lower) onto a Mac running Snow Leopard (10.6)? It installs smoothly, but when I try and open it, I get an error: Unable to locate Digidesign hardware." The MBox 2 shows up in the control panel, though. I originally installed Pro Tools on Leopard (10.5) and it worked fine after I updated to 10.6. I recently did a clean install, which is why I'm installing PT again. I'm hoping I don't have to reinstall the OS again, this time starting w/ Leopard, installing PT and then running the 10.6 upgrade.

Thanks,
-Adam
