Unable to download PT 10 license to ilok

I've just downloaded the PT 9 to Pro 10 upgrade. When I go to ilok to download the license, I'm told it can't download because I need to surrender not only my PT 9 license, but also my PT 10 license. Well I've never had PT 10 so it's not on
my ilok...only the PT 9 license is. Any one got an answer for what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

I haven't seen that before so you probably need to open a support ticket with Avid to get this resolved. Initially this service call will cost you but once it is determined this is an activation/registration type of service, the charges should be reversed.

Actually, registration/activation support is free. He doesn't need a code for that. He would just need to call follow the prompts on the phone for that department.
