Beat detective and time streching...???
two different animals.
Beat detective is not availible for LE.
Use Serato Pitch-n-Time.
It does a great job with both Time and Pitch.

Go figure..??

I'll second the recommendation for Pitch 'n Time. Digi's plug, Time Compression-Expansion generates too many artifacts for my taste.

I've been timestretching crap, ever since the days of timebandit. Back in the day, when it would take a half a day to process a stereo vocal track.

These days, there are better alternatives to timestretching, in certain cases.

If you're timestrectching vocals or similar material, then pitch n time, will be your best bet.

However, Transient stuff, like kicks & snares, are better left alone. Timestretching kills the attacks, and really takes all the punch, and character out of the sound.

Use the Dice & slice method instead. Do this either manually in Protools, or chop it up into Rex, or use ableton live. At least you will keep the integrity of the sounds, without losing the punch
