Default Which one would you suggest

Hi
I am about to make a purchase I cant decide on which one of these items to purchase, I have a Digi 003 rack+ running Pro Tools 8 on a Powermac PPC G5,
which one of these will work better with my setup as a control surface?
a Command 8 or a Tascam us2400,
which one would you suggest and why?
Thank you for your help with this

I would try to hold on a bit longer and see if Avid brings out something new. The 2400 isn't all the special(to me anyway, especially due to no scribble strips for fader ID) and the Command8 is getting long in the tooth and pales in comparison to the 003 controller. Just my 2 cents

If you can at least wait another week the NAB show starts April 12th. Digi will be there and it's sometimes when companies introduce new products. (not that I know of anything in particular).

As for the 003, I am not convinced that its the be all, end all of controllers, but it does have a lot more functionality than the 002(which I had before). One flaw that keeps me from using it as much as I'd like is; the fader flip mode. That would be really handy for doing headphone mixes except for the fact that once you choose flip mode, the display no longer shows track names(so you have no idea what track you are adjusting). That's with 8 faders so imagine how lost you might get with 24 faders on the Tascam.

The scribble strips would be a lot more useful if they auto srcolled. I end up with tracks called things like VB1CMP to tell em apart on the strips.
