Default Drum Sample Recommendations

I'm wondering what drum sample libraries everyone uses. I've become pretty good at programming unique drums tracks for whole songs (as opposed to using loops). However, right now I'm using the stock Reason sounds in REDRUM. I program each midi drum hit in PT and REWIRE REASON into the session. Do you have a better program I could be using for my drums than reason? What sample libraries does everyone like?

I don't care at all about getting loop libraries. I want individual drum hits that I can use for my programmed drums.

99% of the tracks I do are rock songs with sort of a new school punk twist. Think Foo Fighters, Yellowcard, Brand New, Bowling For Soup, etc.

Thanks in advance for the input.

Kyle

Well the Drum Kit From Hell is great.

Go to Toon Track

Look for the Drum Kit From Hell Superior thread which I posted to yesterday.

Nobody has yet put together the item that I would love to see. That would be a stand alone drum machine, like the Alesis SR-16, only bigger, with bigger pads, and the ability to load in whatever drum samples are available from other software sources. I don't want it to have bass options, just a stand-alone unit that enables me to program it just the way I program my SR-16, but with an unlimited source of sounds. Why won't someone just do this? It should be very simple to do.

It does exist.

I was thinking about buying that BFD...but have heard many problems about using it with LE & rewire/RTAS..can anyone give a true honest answer & review about how well it works?
