11.0.2 playback hangs for 10sec...

So.. just updated from 11.0.1 to 0.2, shouldnt have I guess.

When I playback a session, it plays fine for 30sec, then everything hangs for like 10sec, I can't move any window. But, the video window is still playing fine under thoose seconds. And it keeps on doing this.... audio is still coming out fine also through the speakers

Had the same thing happening to me. Uninstalled pt11 and removed everything. Re-installed and it worked fine after.

Try disabling the PCs floppy drive in the bios or deleting it in the device manager (even if you really do not have a floppy drive). Search for past threads in DUC to find out more about why this happens etc.

I would like to 2nd what Darryl said, from personal experience. PT 11 was completely unusable until I did this very thing. There's isn't even a PORT for a floppy drive on my MOBO (Asus P6t Deluxe) and it didn't show up as an option in device manager, but I still had to go into bios and disable it. Instant success.

This is what I ended up doing and It worked!

Reinstall did the trick, didnt have a floppy option in BIOS or Device manager (since it dosn't exist).
