Default New UI sound libraries

Hi everyone,

We have two new libraries out, both user interface but on opposite ends of the spectrum. Both of these are £15 / $19 / €17 and are part of our new MicroTone range.

Basically smaller libraries for quickly grabbing new sounds when you're on a job and need something right away.

Use code MICROTONE on our site tonemanufacture.com to get 10% off all MicroTone libraries.

You can also sign up to our mailing list to get 10% off all libraries and all our discount codes are useable together so get yourself 20% off using both codes.

All our libraries are available on A Sound Effect as well, and the MicroTone range is discounted there by 21% until the end of June.

Cassette Tone

89 Mono Broadcast WAVs recorded at 24 bit 96 kHz with embedded Soundminer metadata

A collection of buttons and motor sounds recorded from a Sony TCM-939 cassette tape deck.

Useful for UI design, mechanical sound design and all manner of everyday switches it includes transport buttons, motor sounds, tray opens and closes, tapes in and out and the deck in operation from exterior and interior perspectives. Also present are cassette and tape case handling sounds.

Almost all the sounds were recorded using a mono DPA 4060 omni mic at very close range for details and a Sennheiser MKH 40 for a more overall sound. The miniature size of the DPA 4060s means that there are numerous takes of the machine running recorded from inside the tape tray, which results in amazing close details of the motor and buttons.

Glitch UI

221 Stereo Broadcast WAVs recorded at 24 bit 48 kHz with embedded Soundminer metadata

A collection of user interface sounds created from mangled video files, circuit bent keyboards and dying hard drives.

Pops, clicks, glitches and transitions, all sourced from our Error Tone library but re-edited and processed specifically for sound designers with extensive Soundminer metadata.

Contains sounds which will work for all your user interface feedback needs, from retro computer interfaces to modern tablets to futuristic sci-fi UIs.

The demo video below is made entirely using sounds from the library.
