Default Donīt laugh at me: How can i cut a Region?

Hello Pro Tools users!

Iīm coming from Logic and I donīt know how to cut a region at the song position line.

Not command-B, just B. When Commands Keyboard Focus is enabled you can use a single key for various commands.

That's the way I do it as well. A trip to youtube will turn up tons of good tutorial videos for Pro Tools, as will avidTV and the airusersblog.com(which I highly recommend). Make a donation to Russ as he has a pile of tutorial videos

Cut, per definition and Pro Tools speak, is "X" (commands focus on).

B - split at cursor.

X - cut, as in cutting a selection

Command t - trim left and right to selection. Basically, highlight a part of the region and that kc creates a region length of the seection
