Samplerate crackling und distortion after CPU overload

When I open a CPU intensiv session (but not overloaded Session) or change some plug ins in this Session after opening, my system looks like its out of samplerate sync and I get crackling and distortion. When I change the buffersize the Sync is fine and the Session works fine.
This do not depend on the buffer size. Also if I change from 512 to 1024 and back again to 512 everything works fine. I have to do this only to get back to sync.
I thought that it has something to do with my 2 Apollo Interfaces, but the point is that this happens when changing something on the plug in inserts. This happens not all the time. my be 1 or 2 times when working for hours, but often after starting the session or putting some new plug ins on the masterbus.
This happens in Rosetta and native.
Any Idea what this can be or do other user have the same problem?
This comes some months ago with my M1 Mac and PT 2023.6

Edit: the title should better say. After short(!) CPU overload. Because very short CPU overloads often happens when opening new plug ins or when opening a session. because the system needs a short time of recalling and relaxing.

Yes I've seen this issues for years on multiple rigs (mostly older mac pro's).
On non HDX-hardware it starts crackling and distorting. On HDX hardware the delay compensation stops working (or the delay is faulty). It's always caused by cpu overloads (though not every overload will trigger it) and always fixed by changing the buffer size back and forth.
