when i try to launch it bounces once in the doc and then doesn't do anything. i'm 100% sure it's pt 7.3.1cs8. i even updated it a second time to make sure. i also tried a new admin account. same thing. arg!

Ok, try installing the lastest PACE Driver, then download and run the prebind_script.
Let us know if that works.

Fixed it!!! had to do it in this order. the mac os x 2009-01 update. do a clean uninstall of PT. reinstall PT. update PT 7.3.1cs8... TADA!!! thanks for the help digi!!!
