Default PT HD 9 to 10

Hi avid, please:

I have two pt9 licenses: one pt 9 and one pt9 hd.

My question is: if I choose to upgrade only the HD one, does it will run on my macbook pro mid2010, with a mbox 2 pro?

My best regards
Ricardo

Yes, it is just like HD 9, in that it will run without HD hardware, and becomes the equivalent of running regular PT10 and the Complete Toolkit. So you can use it with other interfaces like usb or firewire, or without an interface.

But as far, as I understood, you will need to buy the HD Update for 999,-

PS: PT 10 is running perfectly here, at least the whole day so far.

Yes. I think he was trying to make sure he didn't have to buy 2 separate upgrades. Maybe?

yeah, more or less.

And the other way around? Assuming that I have the complete tool kit 2, if I upgrade de PT9 to PT10, will I be able to run this protools using my NATIVE HD CARD->96 I/O ?

The Ideia is to do the save some money, at least for a while....
