Rapper trying to get back in the game! LE 6.4 -> LE 6.7?

Hey guys,

The thread title is just a joke. I was just hoping someone could elaborate a little on the process of upgrading from ProTools LE 6.4 to 6.7.

6.7 is not offered as a free update from avid.

On my Mac which is running OS X 10.5.8 I can't run ProTools without it telling me "Digidesign hardware is in use with another application. (-1133)".

From what I understand, my version of OS X is too modern for my version of ProTools, so I need to update.

I purchased my MBox with Pro Tools 6.1.2 maaany years ago. It might have been 2003.

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks!

If you're running 10.5.8, you probably need Protools 8. I don't think even 7.4 will work with that.

You can still buy PT8 from the Avid store, here:

If you have the original Mbox (not mbox 2), the last version you'll be able to use is 8.0.1.
