Default PT7 uninstaller?

I've searched the DUC.....
Does PT8 have an uninstaller for PT 7?
or do I need to find my original PT7 installer for a clean uninstall of PT7?

(I haven't opened my PT8 download yet - sorry if the answer is obvious)

thanks

Not sure about the download but the retail package disk includes an uninstall utility.

thanks -
I guess my question is:
Is the uninstaller utility a generic uninstaller?
or does PT7 require a different uninstaller than PT8?

you should be fine with the uninstaller that comes with pt 8 for uninstalling pt 7. just make sure when you go to uninstall that you do the "clean" method.

If you've got a PT7 installer, there may be an uninstall option available in the custom install menu.

If memory serves, there should be an uninstaller already on your system in "Applications/Digidesign/Pro Tools/Pro Tools Utilities". Problem solved.
