Multiple ilok\'s on the same computer??
Can I use Multiple Iloks on the same computer or do I have to transfer all the assets onto one Ilok?
1 is from an Hd3 system running 6.9.3 and the other is from an hd2 system running 7.1. ...and if so of, do I combine all the plug-ins into the one plug-ins folder? Thanks Robert |

Re: Multiple ilok\'s on the same computer??
I have 3 hooked up at once, and have seen as many as 7. No problemo.

I have two. One for my Waves bundle, one for the rest of them.

Re: Multiple ilok\'s on the same computer??
I'm using two iLoks, a Logic Pro dongle, five VSL library dongles, and a YellowTools dongle on my system, and have no issues. Just make sure you buy quality USB hubs.

Re: Multiple ilok\'s on the same computer??
Like the others said, it's no problem using multiple iLoks. I have one main, one Waves and one demo iLok. They are all connected to an active USB hub.

Re: Multiple ilok\'s on the same computer??
I just wish iLok.com would allow you to have your ilok and someone else's hooked up and choose between them when syncing. My hub is somewhat hidden and I have a friend that keeps his iLok here and it doesn't allow me to choose and I have to unplug his. All the plugging and unplugging makes me nervous.

Re: Multiple ilok\'s on the same computer??
Can I Jump in here???
Today, I bent my iLok pretty good, and it scared me. Since I have too many plugs on the list that aren't covered by the Zero Downtime, I was wondering if THIS is Possible........ Can I buy a New iLok and register it to my account and transfer All my licenses to the New iLok that would be a little more physically reliable? For Free? Thanks, Adrian |

Re: Multiple ilok\'s on the same computer??
Yes, as long as the old iLok still works to de-register it from it during transfer. If it is broken / non-responsive, you will need to go through the 'send it in and it will be replaced' approach.
