Yamaha DM1000 as Remote

Is there anyone here who could help me on this?

I've got the DM1000v2 set up as a control surface. Overall, it works. The faders act as they should, and all the controller profiles are installed. According to the manual, everything it set up properly. However, I can't control the panners (either stereo or surround) using the joystick. This should be set up right, with the MCS Panner profile installed and selected in the Peripherals screen.

Any ideas?

(not sure about amount of RAM)
