Default Peak indicator

I see there an option to change how peaks are held one the volume indicator, but is there a way to get the peak indicator (the box that you ctrl click to get the readout) to reset back to 0 when the levels drops back to 0?

You may want to rephrase your question. You loose me with "the box that you ctrl click to get the readout".

The Peak indicators are yellow hash marks left on the VU meters showing the hotest level reached by the section played. If you want those to fall to zero, then you don't really want peak indicators enabled.

I suspect you are refering to another feature of PT. Sorry, just not sure what you're asking here.

Sorry for not being clear. I'm talking about the box above the pan box on the track display. This box reads the plugin delay, the volume, or the peak if you ctl-click it.

The VU meter falls to 0 just fine, but the peak readout (the one that you ctl-click to view) does not. I'm wondering if there is a way to make it reset automatically. It's quite a pain to have to keep clicking it to reset it back to 0.

Falls to infinity actually.. but there's no way without clicking to reset it.
