Sometimes a specific plugin works for a specific situation when no other does it good enough sound-wise. Who knows, it might come in handy.

For sure, but a random, antiquated plugin that wasn't even that great when it came out doesn't seem like its going to generate sales as a promotional giveaway.

True. That Space reverb plugin they're including is very cool though.

Haven't tried it yet, but I've used TL Space for years and have always liked it, particularly when loaded up with Bricasti impulses.

Yeah same plugin, only updated for AAX with a newer interface.

Default Re: Smack! and Eleven Plugin offer

So I've been looking at this today as well. I have PT 11, thinking about upgrading to PT12, mainly because I will probably have to upgrade to El Capitan sometime in the next year and PT 11 may no longer be supported. It seems that the only way to get the Smack! plug in is to buy the annual upgrade and support plan for $199. Can anyone clarify that if I buy just the annual upgrade plan for PT 12 at $99, then I won't get Eleven or Smack!? I ask because I already have an Eleven Rack hardware unit and the plug-in would seem to have little value. Is it worth the extra hundred bucks for Smack? Also, it would seem that the plug-ins are on a 1 year renewal plan, so that if I were not to renew in another year, then Eleven and Smack! would stop working? This seems a bit murky to me. Anyone able to shed some light on this promotion?

They are not included with the $99 Upgrade Plan. (details)

Perpetual licenses for Smack and Eleven are listed with the $199 Upgrade and Support Plan (details) or with full perpetual license (details).

Thanks, saw it now. Really not a good way to treat your existing customers this.
