Missing Ilok licence for Music Production Kit 2

Hi,

i'm coming back to PT after a couple of years away. I noticed on starting PT - i have 8.0.5 - that i couldnt authorize my Music Production Toolkit ver 2. After searching around i discovered that there is no licence for this on my ilok. In my ilok account history, i have an entry "The license for product Music Production Toolkit [Digidesign] (License) was surrendered for update."
Checking my Avid account, i purchased the update from ver 1 to ver 2 on 23/12/08. So somehow the new licence has "vanished"!! I searched all over Avids website for a contact email to enquire as to what may have happened but i cant find anything.

Is it possible that this licence has expired? Or is there an easy solution?!

never would have expired…..open a case with avid and find out who switched what license for what…..

also ilok should be able to tell you something….about who and what went where….and to what ilok user name…..

if not i have one i will sell you…...

thanks for you reply. When u say "open a case", how do i go about this?? The only option i can find is to pay £30 and buy an ASC - really?? £30 just to ask a question about a product i have already paid for? This seems a bit harsh to me! Is there a not a facility available to ask a question without paying £30?

This would be a registration/activation issue. Support for this is free. But I think you may need to actually call, and that would be an international call for you. I'm not sure how to do it by email without a support code.
