stop indexing boot drive
Does anyone know how to get os9.04 or os9.1 to stop randomly indexing the internal hard drive. I can't seem to stop this & it's been interrupting Protools while recording.
Thanks

Re: stop indexing boot drive
Launch Sherlock 2, under the find menu there is an item called 'Index Volumes…" uncheck all of the boxes in the dialog that comes up, or change the schedule to a better time.
Good luck.

Shawn,
Thanks a million for the quick & helpful response. This was one of those dumb little things that has been driving me crazy for a while now.

Re: stop indexing boot drive
Perhaps Digi could add this hint to their user manual as part of the installation procedure. I was caught by this too in the middle of a really good one off jam session
