Default Copying and pasting regions

Whenever I copy a region and paste it to another section of my song it seems as though they are linked. In other words, any additional edits to the former is mirrored in the latter and vice versa. How can I prevent this?

Sounds like you have to turn off Options (menu) > Mirror MIDI editing
