problem copying and pasting
so pretty much i want to copy a single guitar track and paste it again further on in the song on the same track. but whenever i go to do so it will paste the track on the top track in my pro tools session and i have to move it down to the correct track with all the right plugins etc.
why is it doing this??

Are you making sure to have the track selected that you want to paste to? It sounds like you may have the top track selected when you paste...
