Default Who\'s still on OS9 -- 5.2.1

I always figured if it ain't broke don't fix it. But it's getting lonely here classic-land. But I 'hate' problems, and I'm making music now and having NO problems. Just wondering if anyone is still back here in OS9 land, besides myself?

Me too big guy, i'm still on an old G4/OS9/5.2.1

I'll definetly be upgrading to a G5/OSX at some stage but can't afford it at the moment...

Keep me posted if you do it before me and let me know what it feels like...

Same here,001-9.1 PTLE 5.0 !! Hell I am still on a 9500 "upgraded" to a G3 400
Works fine, even with Waves. I may go to a Dual 1.25 one day,but never going 002. That sucker is way to flawed.Been spending my $$ on better mics, pres, and outboard gear.

Me! Well actually I'm on 5.3.2 and I love it! My 002 is rock solid! Thanks Digi for getting it right the first time. No plan to "upgrade" yet. Thanks

Me too.

For mobile recording I have my G4 667Mhz Powerbook with OS 9 and PT 5.3.2.
On this machine it´s much more faster than OS X with PT 6.x

While we have made the ugrade on our G-4 Dual 1Ghz Quicksilver to Panther and PT6, we still do most of our work in OS9.2.2/PT5.2.1. We have a major plugin investment in 9 for one, and when testing performance with the DAVEC test, we got exactly the same score for both.

We ran Jaguar but wuickly found it to be a joke. Panther is IMHO what should have been the first pay for release of OSX. It works good, no isues here. Jaguar and prior OSX releases, forget about em.

I'm on 9.2/5.21 and it has always been ultra-smooth.
Tomorrow though, i'm upgrading on another HD with OSX so
that'll be a new experience. Probably will continue mixing
on OS9 and run Reason/6.2 on OSX for creating. (Rewire/RTAS-VST)
