Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

As I wrote, I do have now 15" MacBook Pro and it its too heavy in everyday use for me. I'm glad if it works for you. Different people, different needs.

Not sure how you figure...
2560 * 1600 = 4096000
2304 * 1440 = 3317760
4096000 / 3317760 = 1.23, for a delta of 23%

anyway, tangential.

I used horizontal versus horizontal and vertical versus vertical.

Tangential - maybe; but still significant any way one looks at it. I'd still rather have the bigger screen particularly for these aging eyes. I'd really like to see Apple bring back the 17" screen size of the old Powerbook G4 machines. That would certainly make it possible for someone that wants a portable system but doesn't like the 15" screen but doesn't want to haul around an iMac either.

I use a 13" MBP all day long. Scrolling through tracks is a breeze with the trackpad

Sure, not as much real estate as the 27" iMac I use at the studio but a MBP has become the de facto standard amongst producers out there. Just look at the number of pros mixing in the box with one these days.

I might add an external screen one day via HDMI but to be honest I'm pretty content with it the way it is.
