Re: can't import audio (have looked at other posts) PLEASE HELP

Hi guys,

I joined the forum because I can't figure this out by my self and I haven't seen a post similar to mine.

I can't import any audio files and this msg comes up (attachment included). At first I could drag and drop, and that worked for the time being but now whenever I import an audio file, no waveform even shows up.

I have arecording in 6 different sessions that I need to piece together and normalize, the easiest of all tasks, but I cannot get my audio into the session!!!!

What is your setup?

Do you have Automatically copy on import preference enabled when you drag and drop?

Import audio files from where? Try dragging(outside of PT) the files into the session folder and import from there

Looking at your profile page it seems like you're on Sierra with PT11.3; those two are not compatible with each other. Nor will this ever be fixed. You're either going to have to upgrade to PT12 or downgrade to an earlier OSX version if possible.
