Midi I/O with HDX & PT10

Hi! Since next version of PT is dropping the support for the "blue" hardware interfaces I'm curious if that includes the midi i/o?

I have a HD3 system, a 192, a pre and a midi i/o and I'm planning to upgrade to hdx and a hd i/o. Since there is no new midi i/o I'm wondering if I can keep using my midi i/o?

They actually dropped support (stopped testing) the Midi I/O a couple of years ago but it still works. Yes, it's on the list of not supported going forward to pro tool 64 bit ..... Maybe it'll still work.

Seems pretty stupid since they don't offer any alternative product themselves. What about the PRE, forgot to ask about it. Sure it just a preamp that works regardless of DAW and A/D but the remote functionality is the thing they could break...
