Default When I import audio (MP3) its to loud(clips)

Importing audio(Ctrl>Shift>I) converted at 96kHz but the sound waves are off the chart so it distorts.

But when I play the MP3 on itunes for example its doesn't clip(distort)

How can I import it in with lower volume?

Thanks in advance.
