Pro Tools must force quit to quit
PT 6.7c8 will not quit on its own. I get the spinning beach ball of death. I have to force to quit to exit PT. Can't figure out what's wrong.

there are a bunch of possible problems...sorry to tell you. did you start with the PT 6.7 read me file from digidesign? it is available from the support library.

I have this same problem, did you ever get it figured out? I went through the 6.7 read me with no luck.

Hi,
Try trashing the Digidesign Databases folders on all hard drives. Then restart the computer. You might also want to trash the preference files. Instructions for this and other support tips are posted in the OS X troubleshooting thread at the top of the forum. regards, Digidesign Technical Support
