WTB Expansion HD Cable

Hi - I just snagged a Digidesign Expansion HD 6 Slot PCI Chassis off ebay...it comes with the card for the computer - but does not come with the required cable that spans the distance between the computer card and chassis - please let me know if you have such a cable, or if you know where I can buy one...hum...do they still sell them in stores?

Doesn't magma make those? You could probably go to their website to find out about the details of the cable

unsure if the Magma solution is viable - saw a cable that might fit for $300...that is not likely (ouch) still asking if anyone knows where I can track one of these down

Can you post a picture ofthe chassis somewhere? That's the easiest way to tell what you need.

No picture, but if that's what you have, that model was made by some obscure company no longer in existence, and very hard to find parts for. The cable for that one should look like an ethernet cable. It's not made by magma, and will not work with any magma cables or cards.

The Expansion HD Cable is an Ethernet Cable.

Go to RadioShack and buy a: "RJ45 Shielded Cat 6 Ethernet Cable".
