Default Pro tools wont open?????
im new to pro tools le 7.4 and my digi 003 rack and i set everything up the right way and for some reason it wont open....i deleted ie8 and try alot of diffent things i cant figure it out..I can use cubase studio 4 with no problem.......help thanks

i deleted it frist because it wasnt in my add or remove programs.....then i reinstalled it and remove it from my add and remove programs.....my 003 rack came with pt 7.4 and 8.0 and i cant use none of them.When i install 8.0 when i try to open pt 8 it says app fail to initializing properly 0xc000001d...pt 7.4 just wont open and shows up in task manager??????????????

Deleting a program instead of uninstalling it usually takes critical shared dll files. And why did you re-install it?
Feel like reloading Windows?

Yeah u jacked up deleting that & not installing & installing again when it was never uninstalled in the 1st place... Registry is probably all jacked now so if I were u I'd just start over

Now that it's re-installed you might as well try CCleaner and see if that does it for you.

i didnt know i thought if i re install it and remove it,it would do the trick but i guess not...What to do next.....does pt 7.4 get affected by ie8 too??Cant wait too get my IMAC
