Default BFD2 on Protools 10

I installed pro 10 on a macbookpro which already had BFD2 installed and it is not recognizing the plugin. Can't find my software discs for BFD, so re-install not an option. Any way to get at BFD in the box? tanx, dumb

This is assuming you installed the RTAS version of BFD2. If not you have options - I know there are updates at the fxpansion site for BFD2 even though they are old as development stopped some time back. The update should might give you the option of installing RTAS format if you hadn't already.

Failing that here's another option - get Blue Cat Audio's MB7-2 or Patchwork and use one of them to host the vst or au version of BFD2 in PT10. Being you're on a Mac you should already have at least the au version of BFD2 installed.

Failing all the above - PM me and I may be able to help in another way.
