Default Is there a quick way to select next patch in a folder from structure?

Hi,

I can't seem to find a quick and easy way to audition my library of sounds? i always thought the little up/down arrows were for selecting next and previous patches, but it just opens up the folders menu and i have to navigate through all the folders to get to my folder containing the sounds i want to audition which is incredibly slow and painful on the wrist.

I tried the browser but it seems to want to create a new part each time i select a new sound!!

Am i missing the obvious? a fast way to audition my library!

Chris

In the upper left corner of the RTAS plug in window there are plus and minus symbols in between the "Default Name" and "Compare". Is that what your looking for?

That would work except for the fact that the Structure content does not come with the patches saved as plugin settings. You would have to go through the process of loading each patch and then saving it as a plugin setting. Once you have them all saved, you would then be able to scroll through them quickly and even auto advance them in the settings window. Check out the little button just to the right of the + button.

Cool Re: Is there a quick way to select next patch in a folder from structure?

Send me an email as I've made presets.

You may have to direct Structure to your patches depending on where they are located on your hard drives and then re-save Save Settings As... (Command/Control+Shift+S) the preset and you should be fine.

Hope this helps.

I've just posted these to the Air Blog Patchbay.

I was wondering the same thing. auditioning our library is difficult especially as our library is quite large now and many folders deep.

So is there a way to audition through all the patches in a sounds folder without having to re-navigate to the folder again?

i couldn't see any video on the blog about this did i miss it somehow.

Jez
