quad opteron hardware buffer error

very occasionally...once every few hours on my quad i get a 9093 or 9094 hardware buffer error and a CPU spike on the system usage meter.

my sessions are never going over 50% CPU usage. im running anywhere from 24 to 48 tracks of audio at 24/44.1.

plugins used include:

URS
TL Space
EQ III/Dynamica III
Massey
Pluggo

any thoughts on why this could be happening? its not a huge deal but i'd rather fix it if possible.
