Replacing USB on Eleven Rack with Firewire?
I'm considering putting together a simple mobile rig using a MacbookPro and an Eleven Rack.
The only thing though is I'm actually curious if the USB interface can be replaced with a Firewire port on the Eleven Rack to give a faster transfer speed. The other idea I am contemplating is purchasing a 003R and having Black Lion do their thing, then using the Eleven Rack in conjunction with the 003R. I'm not looking for additional inputs as 18 is the limit from what I understand, but I want to know if would then be possible to have the Eleven Rack handle its own DSP. Quite confused. Thanks! |
