The lack of responses to this thread means one thing........We can't get too excited about anything regarding Structure until VERSION 2.0 is released.

The sign-ups to alerts on this tell a very different story Mason, sorry. I appreciate how embarrassing it must be to annouce new versions of products that don't materialize http://duc.digidesign.com/showthread.php?t=245123 (although to be fair I did warn that an unwise pursuit) but no need for sour grapes.

Please explain. What are "alerts", and how does one "sign up" for one? And how many people, exactly, have signed up for an alert on this?

146 desperate structure owners hoping for a decent library after 2 years. most of whom probably have years of sounds that structure can't read or convert as promised.

Lets hope the price is good for the entire library
Lets hope structure 2 does what 1 was supposed to

Your post is disrespectful to those users, and although you might be frustrated, it's not a good way to vent that.

Do people only use samplers as ROMplers? Does anyone actually use them to manipulate samples?

Serious question. I see sooooooo many posts complaining about the inability to load libraries and it just got me wondering.

Im waiting on Structure to be delivered. I ummed and ahhed for a loooooong time deciding which soft sampler to buy. (3 x hardware samplers). I figured being a heavy PT user for 11 years, I should go for the one with best integration with my host of choice.

Here's hoping that the sampler works well. The libary issue seems to be the one everyone keeps hating on. I couldn't give a crap about libraries personally.
